Freedomia — February HODL and BUIDL 🧡

During price corrections you focus more on BUIDL mode. February was a month of heavy technical development and laying the groundwork for upcoming features 🧡

And just like I did in October, November, December and January, here's Freedomia's transparency report for February.

Freedomia remains the same: a small project, no budget, no funding rounds, no token to fund vapour. And that's exactly how we want to stay. With healthy growth driven by recommendations from existing users.

February confirms it: Freedomitas are happy, they recommend their friends, and the project grows at a healthy pace.

The most notable event of the month: on 4 February Telegram decided to shut down Freedomia's official group (according to them, due to reports). We had to start from scratch.

We communicated via email, Twitter and within the app (menu and website links). The new group is: t.me/Freedomiaio

And the best part: in less than a month we're already 810 in the new group. We've almost recovered 100% of the previous size. A massive sign of an active community. 🧡

🚀 February updates

This month we focused on 5 key areas:

Security (more protection and defence against bots and attacks)
Optimisation (speed, response times and scalability)
Multi-card system (almost ready)
Lightning top-up in beta
New languages (we're now 7)

1️⃣ Security (tougher every month)

As the project grows and more people know about us, attack attempts and bots also increase (including denial-of-service attempts).

In February we implemented automatic blocks against these situations and expanded security measures across the board.

2️⃣ Optimisation and scalability

Optimisation is a priority: speed, response times and the ability to handle growth without degradation.

We made improvements to the platform architecture so the app is faster and can scale in user numbers without issues.

3️⃣ Multi-card system (almost there)

One of the most requested features by Freedomitas is practically finished.

We're just finalising how to integrate different cards from different accounts into a single account that holds all cards.

It will be available for everyone in March.

4️⃣ Lightning (beta)

We're still waiting for Boltz.exchange to launch their announced feature for swaps to USDT from Bitcoin (on-chain and Lightning, Liquid, R-BTC, etc.). We can't test it yet and have no date.

Meanwhile, we've enabled a BETA system through Lendasat that allows Lightning and on-chain top-ups.

5️⃣ New languages: now 7 🌍

We keep expanding the project's reach with 2 new languages, Italian and Portuguese. Freedomia is now available in 7 languages:

⚠️ Incident of the month: Telegram shut down the group

On 4 February Telegram shut down Freedomia's official group. According to them, due to reports confirmed by moderators. We don't know the exact reason.

It could be users confused during deposit issues, competitors reporting us, or a mix of everything.

The important part: we're fully operational with the new group and have recovered almost all the previous size in record time (under a month).

🛠️ What's next

March is packed. The main priorities right now:

Multi-card in production for everyone.
Lightning: keep improving the beta and prepare more direct swaps when the provider enables them.
New plans (more options for occasional vs heavy users).
Security + performance: keep hardening and optimising every week.

Bootstrapping growth: product, community and transparency. No vapour.
